Because of the nature of our ministry, we often connect with students who's families struggle to provide the most basic needs for their children. Some situations are simply heartbreaking. As we seek to be the face and hands of God's love to hurting students, we also look to meet practical needs in their homes as well. Mobilepreacher seeks to find those in need, as opposed to having those in need trying to find us. In order for MobilePreacher.org to responsibly address these most basic needs, financial resources are needed.
We are finding that there are many in the Sarasota area who desire to help those in need. We believe it is important for the connection to be made between those with basic needs tothose desiring to help. We have a Direct Connect Partner programto help facilitate these connections. This program is a "win-win" for all involved and here is why:
1. Families in crisis are identified. Children and families receive critical help.
2. The needs are made known to Direct Connect Partners who can respond with resources needed.
3. Donations in this particular program are not pooled for later distribution, but go toward immediate need. (The Direct Connect Partner knows exactly where his/her tax deductible donation is going, what it is used for, and when it gets there.
4. This approach will allow Direct Connect Partners to know who ... and how ...to pray as the they watch their gift at work!
5. Direct Connect Partners can remain anonymous or have a more open and active role as we build strategic, ministry relationships with these families.
6. This program eliminates "administration fees", the middle man, hiccups or delays. This direct approach can be appealing to supporters desiring more personal involvement and who want immediate action and results with their donation.
